Andrea Toomey is an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian tribe of Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2005 and lives in the Snoqualmie Valley with her husband and two sons.

Her husband’s contract work, and the regular lack of affordable employer based family coverage (even with full time employment) meant learning the private health insurance market long before the Affordable Care Act was around. The Recession meant learning Medicaid. These experiences, along with a chronic health condition, left Andrea with a personal interest in seeing that others had affordable medical coverage they could rely on.

Andrea’s mom had been selling Medicare products since 2006, and in 2016, with her mom’s help and encouragement, Andrea got her insurance license and became certified to sell Medicare products in Washington state. She maintains an extensive portfolio of Medicare Advantage (Part C), Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and Medicare Supplement plans and has worked to find independent dental and vision coverage, so that her clients who are interested in Medicare Supplements can have those needs covered as well.

In 2020 Andrea also became a producer for the Washington HealthplanFinder and can now help residents of Washington state apply for private individual and family coverage.

Andrea is also contracted with Midland National and Pacific Insurance Group. These partnerships allow her to offer a wide variety of life insurance products, including accelerated benefits and long term care insurance.
